Kansas Agri Business Council Endorses Representative Peggy Mast
The Kansas Agri Business Council has announced their endorsement of Representative Peggy Mast for the upcoming election. Kansas Agri Business Council is a joint political action committee of the Kansas Grain and Feed Association and the Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Association. Together, these organizations represent over 1,400 individual grain, feed, agricultural chemical, fertilizer, seed, and petroleum businesses across Kansas. The organization hopes to advance and protect the general well being of the grain, feed, and crop input industries in Kansas by endorsing candidates that will protect the general welfare of those businesses. The decision to endorse Representative Mast was made from her voting record and stature within the Legislature.
“I appreciate the importance of this endorsement.” states Mast. It is such a pleasure to represent agriculture in the state, because it is a reflection of my roots. “Despite some rough years in agriculture, it continues to be the single biggest, and most important industry in Kansas. We must continue to protect our future by working to preserve the businesses that keep it alive.” stated Mast.
