The purpose of the sub-committee will be to focus on model legislation that will address the prosecution of sexual abuse as well as the tracking of individuals who have been labeled as sexual predators. “We will also be looking closely at the treatment and rehabilitation of the perpetrator.” says Mast.

“It is a pleasure to work on these type of issues and to become as informed as possible.” states Representative Mast. She hopes to draft legislation this year that will help the victims of sexual in recovery and perhaps to keep better tabs on those identified as sexual predators.
